An Octagon Sewing Box Tutorial is finally ready

I can't believe that 2 months already have passed since I posted the finished Octagon Sewing Box featuring the "Vintage Hollywood" Collection by Graphic 45. Back than I was working on a tutorial for creating this box and was sure that within two weeks editing of the video will be done. Since then my parents were coming from Israel to visit us in Singapore, and I had bad problems with my back (couldn't sit, stand and walk for something like 2 weeks), and then we started to pack for the future moving the house... Agrrr!! So many things have happened and still happening!

But today, after 2 months, the tutorial is finished and ready for you to purchase.

My second sewing box features the "Midnight Masquerade" line by Graphic 45.

The tutorial (as usual) is in a video format, with the detailed instructions of the process for creating the box, embellishing it with the designer paper and mounting the metal hardware. I also provide you with the PDF file which includes the list of tools and supplies, the chipboard cutting guides, the links for getting the metal pieces needed for completing the project, as well as the links to some great sewing items to fill your box with once it is finished.

And, of course, if you have any questions - I am here.

You can find the overview of the first version of the sewing box here:

ATC cards "Alice in Wonderland"

Hello dear readers!

Today I'd like to share a series of ATC cards - "Alice in Wonderland". For putting them together I've used the paper by BeeShabby ("Follow Alice" Collection) and the decorative chipboard from Studio "Prosto Nebo".

Studio "Prosto Nebo" have a full collection of decorative chipboard which is dedicated to "Alice in Wonderland" theme. A variety of designs makes it difficult to choose which ones exactly you want. All of them are great!

At the following pics you can see each one of the ATC's in details:
(The collection is already closed :))

Notebooks + Mini Album in One

Hello dear all!

Again I am here with a project which was not created for any design team, but for a pure pleasure of my own self :)

It is a mini album which also has two notebooks inside. For creating it I used an idea of another crafter - Yevgeniya Tipikina.

For embellishing my mini I've used the 'Serendipity' collection by Bo Bunny.

A few close-ups of the cover:

There are three pocket pages with different flaps, card and memorabilia holders on the inside of both of the covers, two notebooks, one transparent pocket and one envelope in this book. The paper is really nice, I loved it. This time Bo Bunny rocket it.

I hope you like this travel book idea in my implementation.

Cartonnage - Trinket Purse

Hello everyone!
I have always liked to incorporate fabric in my projects (at least whenever I can), but today I want to share with you a trinket purse which I made completely from scratch and it is all covered with fabric (in the best traditions of cartonnage) :)))

I've added a shker on the top lid, but it turned out not exactly the way I planned. Anyway, I will of course learn from my mistakes.

The picture in the shaker window is directional (I will not do that any more), since something looks wrong once the purse is kept in a standing position :)
Here are some of the close-ups of the details:

And here is how the inside looks like:
I've just realized, that I haven't been using my personal watermark on the pictures of a project for a long time, since almost all of them were made for a certain design team, unlike this purse, which was created just for fun, to learn and explore new things and new materials.
I hope you like it.
Have a great day!
